For eight days only, Sobu is introducing a collection of thoughtfully styled festive scenes, designed for brands, photographers and creatives looking for something a little different this season.
The Festive Edit is our take on seasonal styling: a handful of carefully considered scenes, with an editorial feel and just enough festive charm.

A LITTLE CHRISTMAS. A LOT OF CREATIVE POSSIBILITY.
We've added a little festive flair to a few of our favourite corners, while keeping everything else beautifully Sobu.
The Festive Edit is our take on seasonal styling: a handful of carefully considered scenes, with an editorial feel and just enough festive charm.
Throughout the studio, you'll find:
A festive corner beneath the stairs - a little Christmas greenery and considered styling.
The gift-wrapping room - The upstairs Office set will become a playful, maximalist scene filled with ribbons, wrapping paper and festive details.
Gift box props on the cyclorama - a simple but striking setting for fashion, products and campaign imagery.
New Year's touches - a few celebration-ready details for party-season content.
The rest of Sobu will retain its usual look and feel, so you can move between festive and everyday content during the same session.
Whether you're shooting a Christmas campaign, refreshing your brand imagery or getting ahead on content for the new year, there's room to make it your own.

Four hours to shoot, style and create at your own pace.
Perfect for festive branding shoots, product photography or batching your end-of-year content.

Ideal for larger campaigns, multiple looks, team content days or creating an entire season of content in one session. From festive campaigns to New Year's celebrations, there's plenty of room to bring your ideas to life.
Props and sets must remain in their designated positions. Photography services are not included.

A Few Things You Might Be Wondering

Not quite. The Festive Edit features a collection of thoughtfully styled festive scenes in selected areas of Sobu, rather than a complete Christmas transformation. The rest of the studio will retain its usual look and feel, so you can create both festive and everyday content during your booking. A little Christmas, with all the versatility you love about Sobu.

We've designed The Festive Edit with brands, photographers and creatives in mind. Think Christmas campaigns, fashion editorials, product photography, personal branding, corporate content, UGC and even a little New Year's sparkle.
While it's a little different from a traditional Christmas portrait setup, families and portrait photographers are absolutely welcome too!

Absolutely! All The Festive Edit styling is included in your studio hire, with no additional styling fee. You'll have access to our festive scenes and props throughout your session.
We just ask that all styled sets, furniture, props and backdrops remain in their designated positions so they're ready for everyone to enjoy.

The Festive Edit is a styled studio hire experience, so photography services aren't included. You're welcome to bring your own photographer, videographer or creative team, or simply bring your camera and create your own content.
The space and festive styling will be ready for you when you arrive, leaving you free to focus on the fun part!

Absolutely! Photographers are more than welcome to book The Festive Edit and host their own Christmas mini sessions within their studio hire.
You're welcome to organise your own clients and session schedule, provided everything takes place within your booked time, including setup and pack-down.
As the booking organiser, you'll be responsible for coordinating your clients and ensuring everyone follows our studio guidelines, including parking arrangements, caring for the space and supervising little ones.
We'll take care of the festive styling. You take care of the magic behind the camera!
A LITTLE NOTE FROM PAIGE
I've always had a soft spot for Christmas styling.
Before opening Sobu, I spent years working on editorial and festive shoots, and some of my favourite projects involved finding ways to make familiar seasonal ideas feel fresh and unexpected.
With The Festive Edit, I wanted to bring a little of that experience into the studio.
Not a traditional Christmas backdrop, but something with a more editorial feel. A few beautiful, playful scenes that brands, photographers and creatives can use in their own way.
And because I know how busy the end of the year can get, I wanted to make it easy. The styling is taken care of, the studio is ready, and you can focus on creating.
