Every booking at Sobu includes exclusive use of the entire studio. There’s no one else in the space - it’s all yours.

You’ll have full use of the downstairs studio space, the upstairs lifestyle area, private podcast room, balcony and all the essential equipment and furniture you need for a seamless shoot.

From iPhone tripods and steamers to curated furniture and styling pieces, everything has been thoughtfully selected to help you create effortlessly.

Absolutely. The studio is beautifully styled and ready to go as-is, but if you want to elevate your shoot even further, you can add optional extras when booking.

– Props Cupboard → A curated selection of homewares, vessels, linens, books, stationery and accessories from our founder’s personal styling collection. Each piece has been chosen to help you create imagery that feels intentional and refined.

– Coloured backdrop papers in three signature tones — Terracotta, Peach and Nude — for clean, professional studio shots.

– Podcasting equipment (RØDE Two-Person Package) → Professional-grade microphones, headphones and lighting for those recording or filming audio content.

– Extra hours → Extend your session in advance or, if the schedule allows, on the day.

Sobu is open seven days a week, from 7am to 7pm, with the option to host evening events by arrangement, just get in touch to discuss your preferred time.

The studio is fully self-serve, which means you can shoot, style, record or host without waiting on anyone else.

– 2 car park spots for you right in front of the studio
– Large roller door access for easy gear drop-off
– Truck parking available for drop of/pick up times
– Private toilet in bathroom up one flight of internal stairs, shared accessible bathroom located on ground floor at Karthina Lane entry.

We understand that sometimes plans change — especially when you’re juggling clients, launches, or the weather.

Here’s how our cancellation policy works:

– Cancel or reschedule 72 hours or more before your session and you’ll receive a full refund.
– Cancel within 72 hours and you’ll receive a 50% refund.
– Cancel within 24 hours of your session and we’re unable to offer a refund — we’ve held that time just for you, and we’re likely unable to rebook it.

We know it’s not ideal, but this helps protect the time and energy of everyone using the space.

Yes, Sobu is a pet-welcoming space.

We love seeing your furry friends make a cameo, but please keep them off the furniture to avoid cleaning fees. Calm, well-behaved pets are always welcome to join the creative fun.
