Sobu is a self-serve studio, designed to give you full creative control without needing anyone to unlock the door or hover while you work. Think Airbnb, but for elevated content creation.

Come and go during your booking time, use the space freely, and know that everything’s ready when you arrive.

Every booking at Sobu includes exclusive use of the entire studio. There’s no one else in the space - it’s all yours.

– Ground floor classic studio space with change room and client seating area.
– Upstairs lifestyle area with natural light, ‘home style’ set ups including lounge room, dining area, kitchenette, and other editorial-inspired lifestyle scenes.
– Private podcast/office room
– Balcony with outdoor settings
– Private bathroom
– Heating/cooling and Bluetooth speaker
– 2 x Soft box lights, i-phone tripods, clothes rack, steamer – Plinths, stools, armchairs and key furniture pieces — all carefully chosen by Paige to offer versatility and style across the studio.
– High-speed Wi-Fi

Absolutely. The studio is beautifully styled and ready to go as-is, but you can elevate your shoot even further with optional extras.

- Access to Sobu’s exclusive Styling Collection → a rotating curation of homewares, vessels, linens, books and accessories from our founders personal collection, gathered over 12+ years in content creation and styling. These pieces aren’t just props - they’re the finishing touch that make your content sing.

Other optional extras:
– Coloured backdrop paper rolls (in a curated range of seasonal tones)
– Extra hours (extend your session in advance or, if the schedule allows, on the day)

Sobu is open Monday to Saturday, from 7am to 7pm.

You’ll receive a unique access code the day before your booking. Just enter your code, walk in, and start creating.

The studio is fully self-serve, which means you can shoot, style, record or host without waiting on anyone else.

Logistics-wise, here’s what you’ll love:
– 2 car park spots for you right in front of the studio
– Large roller door access for easy gear drop-off
– Truck parking available for drop of/pick up times
– Private toilet in bathroom up one flight of internal stairs, shared accessible bathroom located on ground floor at Karthina Lane entry.

We understand that sometimes plans change — especially when you’re juggling clients, launches, or the weather.

Here’s how our cancellation policy works:

– Cancel or reschedule 72 hours or more before your session and you’ll receive a full refund.
– Cancel within 72 hours and you’ll receive a 50% refund.
– Cancel within 24 hours of your session and we’re unable to offer a refund — we’ve held that time just for you, and we’re likely unable to rebook it.

We know it’s not ideal, but this helps protect the time and energy of everyone using the space.
